Finding Your Way Back When You’ve “Lost Faith ¿” | Non-denominational church Tampa, FL

We’ve all heard the story of the little bird who fell from the safety of his nest while his mother was away. Finding himself on the ground for the first time, he began to wander, asking everything from a cow to a horse, “Are you my mother?” He wasn’t just exploring; he was lost. And in that wandering, he was looking for the one thing that represented his security and his base.

As Apostle Brenda Fruster recently shared with the Village, many of us find ourselves in that same position. Life happens—unexpected situations, timing that feels all wrong, or challenges that seem to come out of nowhere. In those moments, it’s easy to stop looking at the Provider and start focusing entirely on the problem.

The Shift in Focus

When we focus more on the “mountain” than the Mountain-Mover, a subtle shift happens:

  • We lose our focus.

  • We lose our strength.

  • We begin to feel like we’ve LOST FAITH ¿ in God.

It’s a tactic as old as time. The goal of these distractions is to deter you from putting your whole trust in God. When the bills pile up, the health report is shaky, or depression feels like a heavy fog, those things appear unmovable. They look like permanent fixtures in your landscape.

Speak to the Mountain

Apostle Brenda reminds us that God hasn’t just given us the ability to climb mountains; He has given us the authority to move them. According to Mark 11:23, when we stand on a Word that can never be defeated, we have the power to speak to those difficulties—whether they are financial, emotional, or physical—and cast them into the sea.

Faith isn’t about the absence of a mountain; it’s about the presence of the authority to uproot it.

The Way Back to the Base

The best part of the story? The little bird was found. He was restored to his home base and reunited with his mother.

If you feel like you’ve wandered away from your place of peace, or if the “Why me?” questions have left you feeling stranded on the earth’s surface, know that restoration is possible. You don’t have to stay lost in the “Why.”

God is using this season to teach us how to restore our faith, refocus our eyes, and remember that His Word is the only thing that truly has the final say.

Healing Hearts and Finding Purpose: Why God is the Ultimate Example of Loving After Pain

Healing Hearts and Finding Purpose: Why God is the Ultimate Example of Loving After Pain

In the journey of faith, especially when navigating seasons of transition or recovery, we must be careful of what we say. Our words are not merely sounds; they are spiritual containers that carry the weight of our future. When we have experienced pain or disappointment, the temptation is to speak from our wounds rather than our witness. However, the Bible teaches us that the tongue can steer the course of our lives like a rudder on a ship. By being intentional with our speech, we align ourselves with God’s heart, ensuring that we do not let our temporary feelings dictate our permanent destiny.

God serves as the ultimate example of this discipline. Throughout history, despite the pain of rejection and the heartbreak of seeing His children suffer, God never spoke words of abandonment. Instead, He consistently spoke promises of hope, healing, and restoration. He was “careful of what He said” by remaining steadfast in His confession of love for us, even when we were at our lowest. He shows us that loving after pain requires a refusal to speak bitterness. When we follow His lead, we begin to heal because we stop reinforcing the trauma of the past with our own declarations.

This discipline of the tongue prepares the way for Unrestricted Praise. When we stop speaking the problem and start speaking the Promise, our worship reaches a new level of power. Unrestricted Praise is the sound of a believer who refuses to let their circumstances silence their song. It is a bold, boundary-breaking worship that recognizes God’s goodness regardless of the season. By guarding our mouths throughout the week, our praise on Sunday becomes a powerful weapon that breaks chains and opens doors. We find our purpose again not in the absence of pain, but in the presence of a God who is worthy of our highest hallelujah.

Looking for a community where you can grow in faith and lift up Unrestricted Praise? You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Winners’ Worship Center is a non-denominational church in Tampa, FL, dedicated to building winners through the power of the Word. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start or a deeper connection, there’s a place for you here. Join us this week!

A Year of Unrestricted Praise: Our 2026 Journey

A group of people stand and raise their hands in celebration beneath large text that reads "UNRESTRICTED PRAISE" with "2 Corinthians 2:14" written below, marking a joyful moment on their 2026 journey.

Welcome to 2026! At Winners’ Worship Center, we believe this is not just a new year, but a new dimension of spiritual breakthrough. This year, our focus is anchored in a powerful mandate: Unrestricted Praise.

Why “Unrestricted”?

Too often, our worship is tied to our circumstances. We praise when the bills are paid, the body is healthy, and the family is at peace. But Unrestricted Praise is different. It is a praise that refuses to be silenced by the wilderness, suppressed by the “dry places,” or limited by logic. Like Paul and Silas in the midnight hour, we are choosing to lift a sound that breaks chains and opens doors—not because our situation is perfect, but because our God is.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1

Grounded in the Word

Praise without the Word is just emotion, but praise fueled by the Word is Innovative Planning for victory. To ensure we are building our faith on a solid foundation, we are embarking on a Daily Bible Reading Plan together as a church family. By journeying through the Scriptures daily, we align our hearts with God’s voice and prepare ourselves to receive the “divine downloads” He has for us this year.
