The Promise of Paradise | Non-denominational church Tampa, FL

As we move through the month of April, our hearts at Winners’ Worship Center are fixed on a powerful revelation: The Promise of Paradise. While the world often pauses to reflect on the somber nature of the crucifixion, our focus is not merely on the death of Christ, but on His “getting up power”—His incredible Resurrection Power.

From Miracles to the Manger to the Mansion

It is amazing to consider that only a few months after celebrating the birth of Christ at Christmas, we gather to commemorate His sacrifice. For the disciples who walked the earth with Him, the day of the crucifixion was devastating. They had witnessed Him open blinded eyes, heal the lame, and feed five thousand men with just a few loaves and fish. To see that same Jesus hung on a cross between two thieves was a sight of deep sorrow—yet, in that moment, He was showing the ultimate act of love.

A Tale of Two Thieves

In Luke 23:39-43, we find the core of our theme. Hanging beside Jesus were two men who were equally near to Him; both were suffering, both were dying, and both were in desperate need of salvation. They had the same opportunity, yet they made two very different choices.

  • One man belligerently refused Christ.

  • The other believingly received Him.

To the man who reached out in faith, Jesus gave a secure promise: “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise”.

Your Invitation to Paradise

Apostle Brenda Fruster reminds us that the same Jesus who made that promise on the cross is the same Jesus today. He is a just, merciful, and forgiving God who offers eternal life to anyone who calls on His name.

There is no “middle ground” or purgatory to wait in; there is only the choice we make today. As the Gospel message goes out, some hearts are melted while others are hardened. We encourage you: harden not your heart. Tomorrow is promised to no one, and there is no time to waste.

No matter what you have done, the offer of eternal life stands. We ask you today, with love and urgency: Where will you spend eternity when you die?. Choose Christ, choose life, and secure your place in Paradise.
